GASS PRESENTS T-TOWN: TRANSGENDER NEIGHBORS AT PUGET SOUND UNIVERSITY
"T-Town: Transgender Neighbors," was a big hit, even in the rain, at Kitsap Pride.
"T-Town: Transgender Neighbors," was the focal point of the Gender Alliance's annual booth presentation this year at Olympia's Capital City Pride celebration. Hundreds of people stopped by to see the exhibit, and were very moved by the presentation.

Following a very successful two-month run at the University of Washington, Tacoma Library, "T-Town: Transgender Neighbors," moved to Tacoma Community College on April 15th. The exhibit is on display in the library foyer, and will run through May 15th.
GASS brought its T-Town: Transgender Neighbors exhibit to Capitol City Pride, and generated quite a bit of interest. Many folks stopped by to view the exhibit.

Following a very successful two-month run at the University of Washington, Tacoma Library, "T-Town: Transgender Neighbors," moved to Tacoma Community College on April 15th. The exhibit is on display in the library foyer, and will run through May 15th.
GASS PRESENTS Gender Libery: Thinking Beyond Male & Female at UWT
Victoria Q., Annie R. and Henry W. of GASS presented a workshop/discussion entitled "Gender Liberty: Thinking Beyond Male & Female" for a group of approximately 90 University of Washington, Tacoma students and faculty. The presentation was very well received. We thank Anna Salyer of the UWT Library for facilitating this event, as well as the "T-Town: Transgender Neighbors" exhibit.

The long-anticipated GASS Portrait Exhibition, "T-Town: Transgender Neighbors," debuted at the Rainbow Center on Friday, January 14, 2011
The exhibit features 13 portraits of GASS members, along with biographical outlines depicting the unique individuality of each participant but also the commonality of our struggle, and the resilience and eventual triumph of these people. Photography by Irielle and Text by Annie R.
"T-Town: Transgender Neighbors," was funded by Pierce County Pride Foundation. The exhibit will run for two weeks at the Rainbow Center.
TACOMA TDOR
GASS sponsored its fourth annual Transgender Day of Remembrance on Sunday, November 21, 2010. Approximately 30 persons attended this solemn occasion. The names of over 160 transgender persons who died due to violence or neglect were read aloud.
